Our team of Design Engineers work with customers to optimize component design and specifications considering the products’ and use applications. The result is a cost effective and reliable die cast product design that is optimized for the die cast process, secondary finishing operations and final product application.
The team has also pioneered component and process redesigns that have resulted in multi cavity solutions witch provide the customer with significant cost reductions. The team works with clients on Concurrent Engineering of products and also provides project Management and Die cast Design Consultation Services.
Tool Design & Manufacture
In order to provide a proactive examination of how the molding process should function, the RMKK Die Casting Team will do an Initial Tool Design Evaluation and Mold Flow Analysis. To guarantee a seamless tool build process, in-house tool designers will compile all the information clients need to modify and approve their designs.
RMKK takes pride in its capacity to manufacture and oversee all molds needed for clients’ projects. We are able to create and produce our own cold forming process tools.
Machining of Castings
Complex parts or components that are created by the casting process and then further polished or completed via the use of machining techniques are referred to as machined castings. Being a top producer of sand castings, we are experts at producing superior castings that satisfy a range of industry demands. In order to form the required shape, molten metal or other materials are poured into a mold during the casting process. The casting may still have flaws, extra material, or uneven surfaces after it has solidified and been taken out of the mold.
Precision Die Casting
Precision is essential in the manufacturing industry, particularly when it comes to die casting. The process of precision die casting requires accuracy to guarantee that every component satisfies the necessary requirements with the least amount of variation. Whether you’re making hardware or vehicle components, die casting accuracy is essential to guaranteeing product performance, quality, and durability. Let’s examine the significance of accuracy in die casting and how it directly affects the end product’s quality.
Powder Coating
One of the most common methods of surface finishing for the premium die castings that RMKK Die Casting produces is Powder Coating. A highly controllable gun is used to spray colored dry powder, a pigment and resin mixture, onto the desired surface. Due to their opposing electrostatic charges, the powder and the portion that needs to be coated are drawn to one another. Because of this charge, the powder adheres to the surface in a very uniform layer that is thicker than most conventional paint jobs. Because of the nature of the powder coating application and process, the coating is applied uniformly and into all of the difficult-to-reach places.
